Max Haiven is a post-doctoral fellow in the department of Art and Public Policy at New York University where he researches the intersections of imagination and finance. His work on this theme has appeared in journals including Social Text, Cultural Logic and is forthcoming in Polygraph. He teaches material culture at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, Canada where he is also part of the Radical Imagination Participatory Research Initiative. His work on the radical imagination has appeared in Affinities, The Journal of Education, Pedagogy and Cultural Studies and Cultural Critique. He is a member of the Edu-Factory Collective.
