Bio

Kim Middleton is an associate professor and chair of the English Department at the College of Saint Rose, Albany (NY), where she teaches new media and cultural studies. Her research focuses, in part, on the circulation of online video as both a participatory form of cultural criticism as well as a pedagogical platform. Her most recent work discusses the intersection between the digital humanities and remix video, and is forthcoming in the journal Transformative Works and Cultures.  Other publications have appeared in the journal Computers and Composition, and the collections Writing and the Digital Generation: Essays on New Media Rhetoric (MacFarland, 2010) and High Pop: Making Culture into Popular Entertainment (Blackwell, 2002).
