Jonah Brucker-Cohen is a researcher, artist, and writer. He received his Ph.D. in the Networking and Telecommunications Research Group, Trinity College Dublin and his Masters at NYU-ITP. He is adjunct faculty at Parsons MFA in Design & Technology. He has also taught in the Media, Culture, Communication dept of NYU, Parsons - Art Design, History, Theory, NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), and Trinity College Dublin. He has held research positions at Interval Research, Media Lab Europe, and Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology. His work focuses on the theme of “Deconstructing Networks” which includes over 80 projects that critically challenge and subvert accepted perceptions of network interaction and experience. His work has been presented at organizations such as Future Everything, SIGGRAPH, Transmediale, NIME, ISEA, Tate Modern, Whitney Museum of American Art, Ars Electronica, Chelsea Art Museum,Museum of Modern Art,San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Palais Du Tokyo.
