With ten years experience in international development, education, and commercial media production, Elana has demonstrated expertise in the development of educational capacity through media tools. She has successfully implemented projects in both domestic and international field environments including sites in Asia, Africa and North America. She has designed media strategies to support education in Mongolia, Nigeria, Canada, United States, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. Her work for G84 consulting, One Laptop Per Child, and the Center for Disease Control has been integrated into national education and health strategies. She is currently working as a consultant for UNICEF in Sierra Leone and teaching at the New School University.
